innoxia: (sometimes i wanna lose my mind)
[personal profile] innoxia

Astoria had not anticipated any of this when she settled down for a nice dinner in a nice restaurant. She was meant to meet her sister but Daphne had regrettably had to cancel at the last minute and so she had been dining alone instead, which she didn't actually mind so much as she minded missing her sister, but that was neither of their faults. She was glad her sister had been called away though, now that things had gotten so much more interesting.

She'd only barely registered the young heir of the Malfoy family the next table over - she'd seen him before but only in the media, which really had such a slant to it, didn't it? In any case she hadn't paid him much mind past the twist of a gentle smile as she looked his way. Things had been quite uneventful; Astoria had noticed that many of the tables around them had an alarming sort of man sitting at them but she did so try not to judge.

Or she did until one of them stood and went to open fire on Monsieur Malfoy.

Well, that was just not on. A foot delicately darted out as he moved, tripping him just enough that his shot went wild - her eyes did widen a little and she jumped at the sound of it, but living in Malfoy-controlled territory made her a little more desensitized than most, she supposed. It wasn't her fault that things went to hell from there and there was really nowhere for her to go.
